Welcome to the

Balloon Stamping

As soon as I saw this activity on Pinterest I knew it was going to be such a hit for Faye. The activity combines balloons and paint, her two favorite things! As you can see, she decided to use her hands and the balloon to paint at the end. She loved every second of it! What I loved the most about it, however, is that she would be able to do the craft by herself, for the most part. We decided to use blue and green paints for ours to celebrate Earth Day (April 22nd)! This activity fits in perfectly with our “Reduce Reuse Recycle” Kids Night In Box because it is dedicated to our Earth!

  • Balloon
  • Paper
  • Green and blue paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Paper plate or napkin

  1. First, put blue and green paint (or whatever colors you’d like) onto your paper plate. Use your paintbrush to swirl the two colors together.
  2. Blow up your balloon and tie it in a knot at the end.
  3. Use the balloon as a stamp and dip it in the paint mixture and then stamp it onto the paper! Repeat this step as many times as you would like.
