If you don’t already know, the Kids Night In Box team is a huge fan of pretend play. Imagination is something we are so fortunate to have and we feel as if children should embrace it while they have the chance. Faye LOVES playing pretend. I think kids may love pretend play so much because during this time, ANYTHING is possible. They are in their own little world and anything goes. Today we are going to show you how to make alien headbands! These headbands are perfect for encouraging pretend play in your little one(s).

STEPS:

• Tape a few googly eyes onto the green construction paper.
• Cut the googly eyes out leaving a little of the construction paper showing around the outline of them.
• Tape the end of a pipe cleaner to the back of each cut out with googly eye(s) and then wrap the other end around the headband a few times. Make sure to wrap tightly! 
• Play pretend and have FUN!
